Recent Number Changes & Reviews
Dear Ropers,
As we begin the New Year we find our membership up approximately 50% from this time last year and our arena count is up from last year also. With this exciting trend we should be in for a banner year.
We have had some new rule changes both regionally and nationally that should help us as directors and operators serve the ropers more efficiently. With the growing use of computers by us ropers (or our wives and children) we will be able to get information to the roper in a timely manner.
I have already seen huge increases in the participation of directors, operators, members and future members just by using the computer tools we have available to us.
With great new sponsorship deals coming through National ACTRA, everyone, right down to the local Wednesday night jackpots, can benefit from these sponsors.
As your 2008 WA/OR ACTRA President, I make it my goal to continue the growth of ACTRA and to hold it to a higher standard of professionalism.
